About the role:
Responsible for marketing and leasing property in accordance with policy and procedures set out by management. Responsibilities also include providing resident relations services in a professional and courteous manner. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the performance of miscellaneous clerical duties well as support for office personnel. Understands and supports the company’s mission and core values.
ADDITIONAL OCCUPANCY SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Maintains accurate waitlist of qualified prospective tenants, minimizing vacancy loss.
* Refers to a recertification schedule on the computer and reviews it monthly.
* Mails recertification letters to residents 120 days prior to the anniversary date of move-in.
* Sets up appointments with residents to sign necessary forms.
* Sends reminder notices to residents who fail to make prompt appointment responses for the recertification process.
* Perform all low-income household tax credit applicant interviews
* Ensure NAU procedures are adhered to during leasing process
* Responsible for low-income household tax credit compliance in accordance with applicable Tax Credit laws
