Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Estate Planning Attorney with 3–5 years of experience to join our firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning and a proven ability to provide strategic and client-centric legal advice. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while helping clients navigate complex trust and estate matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and revise estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
  • Counsel clients on wealth management strategies, including tax-efficient approaches to estate and gift planning.
  • Collaborate with financial advisors and other professionals to develop and implement comprehensive planning solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Represent clients in probate and estate administration matters when needed.
  • Keep current with changes in estate planning laws and regulations to ensure compliance and strategic advice.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Assist in client and business development efforts to help grow the estate planning practice.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school; admission to the Missouri bar is required, Illinois and Texas a plus as well.
  • 3–5 years of experience practicing estate planning law, with exposure to high-net-worth clients preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of estate, gift, and trust laws, as well as related tax issues.
  • Exceptional drafting and legal research skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • A client-focused mindset with attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary setting.
