At SOLO, we're revolutionizing solar sales enablement with cutting-edge SaaS solutions that help businesses scale and thrive. We’re seeking a UI/UX Designer with strong visual design chops to join our Product team. This role leans heavily into user interface and user experience design, while also drawing on graphic design principles and experience to create beautiful, intuitive, and consistent visuals across our platform.

You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and deliver elegant solutions to complex design challenges. A high level of output will be expected—including numerous wireframes, prototypes, and design iterations—to support a fast-paced, high-impact product environment. From wireframes and prototypes to pixel-perfect designs and visual assets, you’ll shape the user experience across Solo’s core tools and sales workflows.

• Own end-to-end UI/UX design for key product features—from discovery and wireframing to high-fidelity mockups and developer handoff
• Translate complex workflows into intuitive, accessible interfaces across web and mobile
• Develop design systems, UI components, and reusable patterns to ensure consistency and scalability
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and synthesize insights into actionable improvements
• Create polished visuals and assets for product UI, onboarding experiences, and occasional marketing needs
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ship high-impact features
• Advocate for the user and champion design excellence throughout the product lifecycle

• 3–6+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a SaaS or B2B product environment
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work with a focus on usability, clarity, and polish
• Proficiency in Figma (preferred) or similar tools for wireframing, prototyping, and design system management
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and experience and web/mobile best practices
• Experience with user research, testing, and incorporating feedback into iterative designs
• Familiarity with basic front-end concepts (HTML, CSS, components, developer handoff)
• Graphic design sensibility and ability to create visual assets, icons, and occasional illustrations
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• Bonus: Experience in solar, energy, or climate tech industries

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to operate a computer and other standard office equipment.
• Ability to visually review and interpret digital designs and user interfaces.
• Occasional need to participate in video calls and communicate clearly via written and verbal channels.
