Location: West Bend, Wisconsin
Contract : 13 weeks
Schedule : 7 on 7 off, Mon-Fri 1330-2300 and Sat-Sun 0830-1830
Requirements : 2+ years experience | ARRT-R | BLS
**OR and Level one trauma experience preferred

Job Summary: -Performs MRI studies under the direction of a radiologist and oversight of a senior MRI Technologist. -This individual interacts with imaging staff, nursing, physicians, patients and visitors. -Acts as a resource person for MRI technical, and other issues, and demonstrates competence according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols. -Operates MRI and related equipment, prepares scan room -equipment, supplies and medications. -This individual also maintains images and archives associated with patient data. -Other duties as assigned. Required Skills & Experience: -Ability and demonstrated competence in IV insertion and contrast injection -Ability to assimilate new procedures into work routine is required. Preferred Skills & Experience: -N/A Required Education: -Graduate of an JCERT approved two-year radiologic technology program. -Successful completion of a cross-sectional anatomy class. Preferred Education: -Two or four year college degree in radiologic technology, healthcare, business or other related degree. Required Certifications & Licensure: -ARRT registered. -Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-MR is required within 18 months of hire. -For those sites requiring advanced certification in MRI/CT, MR must be achieved within the first 18 months; CT certification must be achieved within 30 months of hire date. -BLS certified within 90 days of hire date. -Preferred Certifications & Licensure: -State of WI license in Radiologic Technology if incumbent performs CT, general radiography, or any other imaging using ionizing radiation; if practice is limited to MRI and/or Ultrasound, no state license is required.
