About the Role

Technical Project Manager (TPM) with expertise in software development and legal tech. This person will oversee a project, assemble a team to develop a legal software.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with software architecture, databases, and AI/ML for analytics (e.g., predictive models). They don’t need to code but should understand concepts like APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and data pipelines.
• Bonus: Experience with legal tech or analytics-driven software (e.g., Clio, Relativity, or CRM platforms like Salesforce with predictive features).
• Must-Have: Knowledge of legal workflows (case management, document automation, billing) and compliance standards (HIPAA) to align the software with firm’s needs.
• Must-Have: Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams (developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers) using methodologies like Agile or Scrum. PMP or Agile certifications are a plus.
• Skills:
• Team-Building: Experience hiring or contracting developers and leveraging agents for 30-40% of tasks.

Qualifications

5+ years in software development or technical project management, with experience leading projects of similar scope.

Required Skills

• Familiarity with software architecture, databases, and AI/ML for analytics.
• Understanding of APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of legal workflows and compliance standards.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legal tech or analytics-driven software.

Pay range and compensation package:

Starting at $75,000.00
