Job Description

About the Company - Total Ancillary specializes in biologics technology and biologics management which drives efficiencies in the podiatry and wound care supply chain. Total Ancillary’s mission is to improve a patient’s quality of care through optimal products, treatments, and education.

About the Role - Oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of technology-driven projects. Act as a bridge between engineering teams, stakeholders, and business units, ensuring project goals are met on time and within budget. Manage project scopes, timelines, risks, and resources, often using Agile or Scrum methodologies as needed. Strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and experience in project management tools are essential.

Core Responsibilities -

  • Project Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of healthcare software solutions including EHR/EMR systems, patient portals, telehealth platforms, and internal tools.
  • Define and manage project scope, timelines, resources, and budget across the full lifecycle.
  • Align priorities and expectations between IT, product, clinical, and executive teams.
  • Technical Execution
  • Translate healthcare and business needs into technical requirements and delivery plans.
  • Manage software architecture understanding, vendor coordination, and API/HL7/FHIR integrations.
  • Oversee compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, and other healthcare regulations.
  • Interdepartmental Communication
  • Act as the primary liaison between engineering, product, clinical operations, legal/compliance, and executive leadership.
  • Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings to ensure clarity, alignment, and shared understanding.
  • Bridge technical and non-technical conversations to support decision-making and remove blockers.
  • Stakeholder & Client Engagement
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver clear status updates, roadmaps, and escalation paths.
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from clinicians and healthcare administrators.
  • Process & Delivery Management
  • Run Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, demos) or hybrid methodologies.
  • Track velocity, resource utilization, and delivery metrics to keep projects on target.
  • Manage change requests, risks, and quality assurance processes effectively.

Required Skills

  • Project Management:
  • Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, Smartsheet, MS Project
  • Technical:
  • APIs, SQL, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure), CI/CD
  • Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, DICOM standards
  • Communication & Collaboration:
  • Cross-functional team coordination
  • Presentation and reporting to clinical and executive leadership
  • Conflict resolution and stakeholder alignment
  • Healthcare Knowledge:
  • HIPAA, HITECH, CMS regulations
  • EMR/EHR workflows, patient engagement tools
  • Telehealth, digital health, and provider operations

Preferred Skills

  • Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience in software or technical project roles
  • Experience in healthcare environments or regulated industries
  • Certifications: PMP, CSM, or healthcare IT certs (e.g., CHCIO)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
