Description Michelle Espejo with Robert Half Financial Services is recruiting for a Senior Accountant at an Established Thriving Real Estate Company. This is a full-time permanent role based in Berkeley with a Hybrid schedule. The client specializes in transforming large, complex properties into vibrant mixed-use communities. Every project is different, offering variety and the chance to work on high-impact developments that shape entire neighborhoods. Responsibilities + Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements + Handle reconciliations, variance analysis, and month-end close + Record daily transactions and ensure accurate accruals + Review contracts and apply the correct accounting treatment + Track project gains using the percentage-of-completion method + Work closely with project managers to support budgeting and reporting + Manage job cost closeouts, fixed assets, and tax payments + Support audits, tax prep, and other ad hoc reporting as needed *Please contact Michelle Espejo via LinkedIn or email for additional info and immediate consideration. Requirements + 4+ years of accounting experience, ideally in real estate or development + Yardi experience is a big plus + Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities + Strong communicator and team player + Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field + Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Interested or even just curious?
