Now Hiring: Full-Time Security Officer – Sioux Falls, SD (Warehouse Facility)

Allied Universal is hiring Security Officers for a high-activity warehouse location in Sioux Falls, South Dakota (ZIP 57107) . This role requires alertness, mobility, and professionalism in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Position Details:

• Pay Rate: $19.67 per hour

• Employment Type: Full-Time

• Schedule: Multiple shifts available – Morning, Afternoon, Evening, and Overnight

• Workdays: Open availability required (Monday–Sunday)

Important Eligibility Note:
Candidates who are current or former Amazon employees are not eligible for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct exit screening for individuals leaving the warehouse floor

• Patrol facility to ensure safety and security of the site

• Maintain accurate visitor logs and enforce access control procedures

• Remain alert and responsive in a loud, high-paced environment

• Communicate clearly with warehouse staff, visitors, and supervisors

Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift

• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness

• Professional demeanor and communication skills

• Ability to work independently in a busy, industrial setting

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
