Leadership & Team Management:
· Leading the store team:
Motivating and inspiring store associates to achieve sales goals, provide excellent customer service, and maintain high standards
· Hiring and training:
Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new staff; providing ongoing training and development to ensure associates have the necessary skills
· Performance management:
Evaluating and managing associate performance, providing constructive feedback, and addressing any performance issues
· Scheduling and staffing:
Creating and managing store schedules to ensure proper staffing levels and efficient operations
· Team development:
Facilitating team building activities, promoting a positive and supportive work environment, and fostering a culture of excellence.
Sales & Customer Service:
· Driving sales:
Setting and achieving sales goals, implementing sales strategies, and providing associates with the tools and resources they need to succeed
· Providing exceptional customer service:
Ensuring a positive and engaging shopping experience for all customers, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, and resolving issues efficiently
· Building customer trust and loyalty:
Creating a strong brand image and building lasting relationships with customers
Operations & Merchandising:
· Maintaining store standards:
Ensuring the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing, with products displayed effectively
· Product management:
Monitoring inventory, ordering new products, managing returns and exchanges, and ensuring product quality
· Financial management:
Managing budgets, tracking sales, and ensuring the store operates profitably
· Operational efficiency:
Developing and implementing efficient store processes, minimizing waste, and maximizing profitability
Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of home furniture sales and design experience
· Management experience
· Marketing experience (including online marketing)
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or equivalent experience is preferred
· Must be able to commute to Manhasset store daily
