Position Overview

We’re seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and entrepreneurial Full-Desk Healthcare Staffing Lead to play a critical role in launching and scaling our business. This role will start as a high-impact individual contributor responsible for both business development and recruiting. As the agency grows, you’ll help build and manage a team of recruiters and account managers, eventually stepping into a regional leadership role.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in both strategy and execution—and wants to help build something meaningful from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing healthcare clients.
  • Conduct client presentations, negotiate contracts, and ensure service excellence.
  • Understand client needs and develop customized staffing strategies.
  • Recruiting & Talent Delivery: Source, screen, and place top-tier healthcare talent.
  • Manage the full recruitment life cycle for clinical and non-clinical roles.
  • Ensure candidate experience reflects company values and quality standards.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Help design and implement scalable processes for sales and recruiting.
  • Mentor and eventually lead a team of recruiters and account managers.
  • Play a key role in hiring, training, and promoting internal team members as the business grows.
  • Market Strategy & Growth: Leverage healthcare staffing market knowledge to guide strategy.
  • Provide insights on competitive landscape, pricing, and trends.
  • Contribute to long-term regional and national expansion plans.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare staffing (clinical/non-clinical), ideally in a full-desk or business development role.
  • Proven track record of client acquisition and relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workforce dynamics, compliance, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality.
  • Leadership experience or strong leadership potential; ability to grow and mentor a team.
  • Local knowledge of the Phoenix healthcare market strongly preferred.
