We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our team. This contract to permanent position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to drive feature development and support onboarding efforts for new business units. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a proven track record of managing software projects in Agile environments.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for custom software solutions.

• Develop and prioritize user stories and tasks to align with business objectives.

• Conduct user interviews to understand pain points and ensure solutions meet end-user needs.

• Manage task tracking and progress using Agile Scrum methodologies and tools like Atlassian Jira.

• Perform manual quality assurance testing to validate software functionality and performance.

• Work closely with business units to support onboarding and integration processes.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure project milestones are met.

• Provide regular updates and reports to leadership to maintain transparency and alignment.

• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner in Agile environments, specifically for custom software development.
• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management experience.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.
• Demonstrated ability to gather and document requirements through user interviews and workshops.
• Hands-on experience with manual QA testing.
• Familiarity with IT project management practices and tools.
