LocumJobsOnline is working with Cynet Locums to find a qualified Family Practice MD in Clinton, Iowa, 52732!About The Position**Job Title:** Physician **Job Specialty:** Family Medicine - Obstetrics **Job Duration:** Full-time **Shift:** Days + On-call **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Recent or upcoming OB Fellowship graduates who are Board Eligible (with plans to become Board Certified within one year of employment) or Board Certified in Family Medicine preferred. **License:** Iowa license (or willingness to obtain) **Certifications:** Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine **Must-Have:** Completed OB Fellowship prior to start; interest in performing C-sections; clean malpractice history preferred **Job Description:** - Seeking a full-time physician to build our Family Practice with OB/GYN services. - Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine and OB Fellowship-trained. - Candidates should be able to perform C-sections. - The position offers an excellent work-life balance supporting quality family time. - Call schedule is 1:4, providing a predictable and non-burdensome experience. - The medical staff includes specialists in urology, podiatry, surgery, cardiology, radiation oncology, and hospitalists, ensuring convenient access and coordinated care. - Facilities include three clinic rooms, a procedure room, and state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment. - The team consists of 1-2 clinical staff members, a receptionist, a Board Certified Gynecologist, two OB nurse practitioners, and another Family Practice/OB Physician. - The clinic has 12 Family Practice providers on-site. - Facility details: 7 Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) beds, Nursery Level I with an average of 1-2 admissions per day. - Practice composition: 50-60% low-risk pregnancy, 30-40% high-risk pregnancy, 5-10% C-section rate, and low percentage of GYN practice. - Documentation system/EMR: Cerner in hospital, eClinicalWorks in clinic. - Estimated credentialing timeframe: 45-90 days. - Compensation includes benefits such as annual time off, CME allowance, professional liability insurance with tail coverage, health/dental/vision/life insurance, short/long-term disability, and retirement plans with employer contribution and matching.
