Job Title: Outside Sales Representative
Hourly Rate: 45K - $21.63 an hour
Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM - Hybrid
Location: Anchored in Raleigh, NC 27610 - Extends northeast toward Louisburg (Franklin County) and south toward Lillington (Harnett County), looping through surrounding counties and metro areas.
Overview
We’re seeking a driven and relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative to manage and expand a defined territory in the Raleigh, NC area. This role combines farming existing accounts with hunting new business opportunities in the industrial, construction, and manufacturing sectors. The ideal candidate is collaborative, adaptable, and motivated to grow revenue while building lasting customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Manage an established book of accounts in the southeast Raleigh territory while prospecting for new customers.
Drive business development through cold calling, networking, job site visits, and industry events.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with general contractors, contractors, and industrial clients.
Represent the company at customer-hosted events, safety stand-downs, and networking opportunities.
Collaborate with inside sales and support staff to deliver seamless customer service.
Track sales activity, pipeline progress, and account growth while participating in monthly and quarterly reviews.
What Success Looks Like
Growth of existing accounts and acquisition of net-new customers.
Achieving revenue targets and collection goals in the territory.
Strong, long-term customer relationships.
Effective collaboration with the Raleigh/Delfin sales team.
Training & Support
Ongoing product and vendor training.
Monthly one-on-ones with management and quarterly business reviews.
Peer mentoring and ride-alongs for faster ramp-up.
Dedicated inside sales support, with additional team coverage.
Compensation & Perks
Base salary: ~$45,000 (flexible for top candidates).
Uncapped commission: 8% of collections, paid monthly.
Ramp guarantee: $2,000–$3,000/month in early months.
Car allowance: $550/month plus $0.16 per mile.
Company T&E card for meals, events, and customer engagement.

Proven track record in outside sales, ideally in industrial, construction, or manufacturing markets.
Balanced hunter/farmer mindset — growth-oriented while maintaining strong client relationships.
Comfortable spending time at job sites and customer events.

Self-starter who thrives with independence in a territory sales model.
