About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Institutional Fundraising to join their mission-driven, not-for-profit organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the organization. This role is pivotal in maintaining and expanding the network of institutional donors, including bilateral donors, large foundations, and development finance institutions. The Head of Institutional Fundraising will work closely with the Senior Management Team and the Board to align fundraising efforts with the organization's five-year strategy, refine the fundraising narrative, and develop bespoke plans to engage donors. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in securing funding partnerships, be financially literate, and have experience in global health or innovative finance settings. They must be a highly motivated self-starter, capable of managing all aspects of the role, from strategy to relationship management, and be aligned with the organization's core values of being mission-driven, humble, and relentless about rigor. Applicants for the Head of Institutional Fundraising position at the company should possess a Master's degree (preferred) and at least 10 years' experience in resource mobilization, with a focus on institutional fundraising. The role requires a candidate with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships, and a proven track record of engaging with C-suite and Board-level executives. The ideal candidate will be adept at working in fast-paced, changing environments, and have a deep understanding of global health products, partners, and market dynamics. They should be articulate, collaborative, impact-driven, creative, and intellectually curious, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
