Pay Range: $45/hr - $50/hr.

As an Art Outsource Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of experiences within this award-winning sci-fi universe. Aquent Talent is seeking a skilled and imaginative Art Outsource Manager to join a team crafting immersive and engaging environments for a renowned entertainment franchise. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a beloved sci-fi universe, working on a high-profile project that reaches millions of players.

As an Art Outsource Manager, you will work closely with art leads, concept artists, and the production team to bring breathtaking worlds to life. Your expertise in environmental storytelling and design will be essential in creating immersive and engaging experiences for players. You'll have the chance to leave your mark on a dynamic and evolving franchise.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with Art Leads, Concept Artists, and the Production Team to define a communication strategy and provide direction and feedback to partner teams.
• Maintain a high-level understanding of the game universe and technological constraints.
• Actively seek and incorporate feedback from leads and peers in asset creation teams, and provide feedback in kind.
• Load, review, and where possible, fix content or write detailed feedback for content creation partners.
• Document feedback loops and top-tier content sharing processes within the studio.
• Manipulate content within DCCs.
• Participate in creative discussions, brainstorms, and reviews across teams to facilitate and strengthen cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of overall industry experience in art design or a related field within computer games or entertainment.
• 2+ years of experience with environmental storytelling and environmental design.
• 1+ year of experience working with Unreal Engine.
• 1+ year of experience with game content and game content creation processes.
• Strong understanding of modern console/PC games.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Portfolio showcasing relevant work.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience in the entertainment industry (Games/Film) with at least one AAA title shipped.
• Proficiency in related software and packages (e.g., Photoshop, Blender, Unreal Engine, Maya, Substance Designer/Painter/ZBrush, SideFX Houdini, After Effects).
• A collaborative growth mindset and openness to giving and receiving constructive criticism daily.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45/hr - $50/hr. Compensation is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
