This is a client-facing, technical leadership role focused on driving the design, engineering, and implementation of modern public cloud and IT infrastructure solutions across industries such as Financial Services, Private Equity, Healthcare & Life Sciences, and High Tech. The ideal candidate will be confident in leading cross-functional teams, partnering with both technical and functional client stakeholders, and delivering strategic cloud solutions that align with business goals and financial value.

  • Architect and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and advanced cloud automation to drive operational efficiency.
  • Support multi-cloud strategies, cost analysis, and business case development for migrations or re-architecting initiatives.
  • Define and enforce cloud architecture standards, governance, and security best practices.
  • Design cloud landing zones and guide workload migration and deployment strategies for GCP ecosystems (as well as other common cloud platforms).
  • Create comprehensive migration plans that address infrastructure, networking, and security improvements.
  • Mentor junior consultants, providing guidance on technology best practices, career growth, and client engagement.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 10-20+ years of experience in IT/cloud architecture or engineering lead roles
  • Expertise in Public cloud platforms like GCP (required), AWS (bonus), Azure (nice-to-have)
  • Proficiency in other technical domains such as scripting & automation, Microsoft 365, Windows/Linux systems, networking, security, storage, and/or virtualization
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred or equivalent work experience required.
  • Proven experience leading migration projects from on-prem to cloud environments.
  • Effective communicator with strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model and come into local office 2x/week (Tue/Thu typical).

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in tech/management consulting or professional services.
  • Professional cloud certifications (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards (ISO, PCI DSS, NIST, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Experience in client relationship management, business development, and/or practice development.

This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking technologist to join a people-focused consulting firm, expand their expertise, drive meaningful cloud & digital transformations, and make a lasting impact with clients across a wide range of industries.
