As a Security Officer - Armed Cleared Defense Patrol in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to incidents as they arise. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to be prepared and qualified to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Pay Rate: $25.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for an armed post.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with attention to the unique needs of an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, maintaining awareness of site-specific requirements for an armed post.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns and/or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
• Active Department of Defense Clearance is required.
• An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
