We have positions in the following area: Trash, and Cardboard.

Monday - Friday 2p-10pm ( Schedule may fluctuate based on production schedule with a later start and end time)

Compensation: $12.00/hr

Responsibilities:

• Operate balers to compress recyclable materials into bundles or bales.
• Operate processing equipment, such as fiber-sorters and grinders, to sort, crush, or grind recyclable materials.
• Cut discarded products.
• Will also be cross trained to perform janitorial duties if need arises.

• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Carry out cleaning task and special projects
• Notify Account Manager needs for repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Cooperate with all staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Skills:

• Proven working experience as a janitor/custodian and use of baler and processing recyclables preferred , but not required
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets
• Integrity and ability to work independently

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

• Previous janitorial experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs.
