Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as an Associate Project Manager for Interior Finishes at Silver Sky Global Capital, based in Sarasota, FL. The Associate Project Manager for Interior Finishes will work for one of the firm’s current largest projects based in Sarasota, FL. He/she will report directly to the Senior Construction Project Manager. The Associate Project Manager for Interior Finishes will be responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, selection, procurement, installation and implementation of both interior and exterior finishes for the firm’s new construction condominium project based in downtown Sarasota. 

The Associate Project Manager for interior finishes will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of interior design aspects within one of Silver Sky’s leading development projects. This role requires a combination of creative vision, technical knowledge, and strong management skills. 

Education and Professional Designations: 

● Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design or equivalent highly desired, but not required

Experience Requirements: 

● 3-5 years in Construction Project Management or Project Coordination Role for Real Estate Development firm

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $90,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience

Bonus eligibility based on the operating results of the Project.

Qualifications

● Demonstrated experience in and in depth understanding of construction, structural, architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire suppression, landscape/hardscape drawings.

● Proficiency in construction project management software, knowledge of construction industry best practices, and an understanding of relevant building codes and regulations

● Experience in design and detailed finishes 

● Strong ability to manage construction projects efficiently and effectively

● OSHA 10/30 desirable, but not required

● Professional proficiency in English language (spoken and written; Spanish language proficiency is a plus)

● Technical Skills

● Proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Excel and Microsoft Project Construction Scheduling application.

● Interpret RFI and Submittals

● Understanding of Microsoft Project Construction Scheduling application

● Understand design schematics 

Essential Responsibilities: 

● Project Support:

o Assisting in planning, scheduling, and executing project activities.

o Monitoring project progress and ensuring timelines are met.

o Assisting in preparing project budgets and tracking costs.

o Supporting the project manager in communicating with stakeholders and team members.

o Conducting project documentation and report preparation.

o Assisting in identifying and mitigating project risks.

● Interior Finishes Focus:

o Coordinating with interior designers to select material finishes, furniture, and accessories that align with the design concept.

o Reviewing project shop drawings and material samples for approval.

o Managing procurement and delivery schedules for all interior finishing materials. Finishes include but are not limited to: elevator, sheetrock, tape and spackle, painting, cabinets, landscaping, flooring, tiles, doors, molding, counter-tops, appliances, pedestals and pavers, amenity furniture, pool, bathroom fixtures and kitchen fixtures.

o Overseeing the installation of finishes, ensuring quality control and adherence to design specifications.

o Resolving construction/design issues as they arise in the field, coordinating with consultants and contractors as needed.

o Assisting with final inspections and punch list completion related to interior finishes.

o Working with sales agents, brokers, buyers and other stakeholders to ensure satisfaction with the final interior finishes.

● Team Collaboration:

o Leading and guiding project teams focusing on interior finishes tasks.

o Serving as the main point of contact for clients/customers on interior finish related matters.

o Coordinating activities with internal staff, consultants, and contractors.

● Administrative Tasks:

o Maintaining project records and technical files.

o Utilizing project management software for tracking progress, timelines, and budgets.
