Description:

Boulder Imaging is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our accounting & finance team. This role will oversee the monthly close, mentor accounting staff, and ensure accuracy and compliance across our financial reporting. You'll be a key partner to the Controller in scaling processes and improving visibility across the business.

Requirements:

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
  • Lead AR processes by understanding contractual milestones and working with customers on terms and timely payments.
  • Manage AP processes by working closely with AP Specialist.
  • Lead the bi-weekly payroll process including multi-jurisdictional state tax requirements.
  • Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Oversee general ledger and subledger integrity.
  • Supervise and develop accounting staff.
  • Assist with audit prep and external reporting requirements, including tax filings, 1099 reporting.
  • Improve accounting workflows, NetSuite processes, and documentation.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience with NetSuite (or other large ERP systems) preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of US GAAP and internal controls required.
  • Experience with inventory accounting and job costing preferred, but not required
  • Payroll and compliance experience required.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, prior management experience preferred.

Salary

$100,000 - $115,000/year
